After logging in, select the option to set up a new wireless surveillance system. The app or management page will then prompt you to connect the included base station to your network device (typically a modem or router) using an Ethernet cable. The base station is automatically detected on the network, and its software updates automatically if new versions are available. Next, install the batteries into the cameras, which will then automatically appear in the app or browser (cameras and base station should be within a few meters at this stage). Select the desired camera, name it, and install it in your preferred location. Users receive not just a message or notification on their device's lock screen, but also a camera screenshot and the ability to start live streaming directly from the lock screen. Videos are stored locally on a microSD memory card installed in the base station at 4K resolution without extra charge. If a user does not subscribe to the paid Arlo Secure service after the free year trial, the free Basic service is automatically activated. In addition to incredible clarity, the camera's field of view is also very wide at 180°, and it directly supports software dewarping for the fisheye effect. The Ultra can also automatically zoom in and track a detected object and its movement within the frame. Thanks to 4K resolution, zooming in on the image is possible without significant loss of quality. A car's license plate in the yard is no longer pixelated but clearly legible. A new feature is HDR support, meaning the camera can produce clear images even in very challenging backlight situations. Regarding the image, it's worth mentioning that the Ultra can produce vibrant color images even in dim and dark conditions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNew features also include a second microphone, a larger speaker, and a siren directly integrated into the camera.
