The HEVC video codec stores more image information, using less storage space, and preserves the dynamic range and detail of your videos and photos, ensuring that the content you shoot takes it to the next level.

Mavic Air 2 includes a high-performance Quad Bayer image sensor that enables high-quality HDR videos. The device separates exposure levels in different areas, capturing light and dark details accurately. The images are layered to get a colorful and balanced image. Mavic Air 2 supports 8K's Hyperlapse feature, allowing you to warp time and space for particularly stunning footage. In addition to videos, the Mavic Air 2 takes impressive 48mpix photos with a ½-inch CMOS sensor.
