The Epson EcoTank ET-8550 is a versatile A3+ multifunction printer featuring a 6-colour cartridge-free refillable ink system for professional-quality photos and crisp everyday documents. Equipped with comprehensive wireless and wired connectivity, it delivers multi-format media handling, scanning, and copying through an intuitive colour touchscreen.
The Epson EcoTank ET-8550 delivers exceptional output for creative enthusiasts and home offices requiring large-format printing up to A3+. Utilizing a 6-colour Epson Claria ET Premium ink set—including dedicated grey ink for nuanced monochrome imagery and pigment black for razor-sharp text—it produces borderless fine art photography and clean documents with rich fidelity.
Engineered around an integrated, front-facing EcoTank reservoir system, this all-in-one printer eliminates traditional cartridges in favor of easy-to-refill high-capacity tanks. Powered by Micro Piezo Heat-Free technology, the printer provides high-speed, reliable output while maintaining lower energy consumption across intensive print tasks.
Comprehensive media handling accommodates varied creative projects with dedicated front-loading paper trays for standard A4 documents and photo paper, as well as a rear specialty feeder for A3+ sheets, cardstock, and craft media. The straight paper path supports specialty materials up to 1.3 mm thick and banners up to 2 metres long, alongside direct printing onto compatible CD and DVD surfaces.
Integrated Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Ethernet, and USB connections allow seamless integration into any home or studio workspace. The printer also includes front SD memory card and USB drive slots, allowing computer-free file access and direct printing navigated via the 10.9 cm colour touchscreen display.
Extensive mobile support enables streamlined printing and scanning workflows directly from smartphones and tablets. Compatibility with the Epson Smart Panel, Epson iPrint, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria allows users to print wirelessly, digitize documents, and manage device functions from compatible handheld devices.
