All new Diplomat doors are equipped with snap-in hinges, which are compatible with most homes built after 1972. If you plan to use an existing frame with a new door, ensure it supports snap-in hinges; otherwise, an old standard door must be ordered.


For a complete installation, various accessories are available separately. Thresholds come in three models: threshold plate, rebated threshold, or bathroom threshold. Interior door frames can be ordered in three different widths—68, 92, or 118 mm—to accommodate varying wall thicknesses.


Maintenance for painted interior doors typically involves general cleaning with water, avoiding soap. Any lacquer damage should be promptly touched up with a synthetic lacquer paint of appropriate gloss and color to maintain the door's pristine appearance.
