Schneider Electric Wiser Smoke Alarm wireless fire alarm. The Wiser fire alarm uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke caused by a fire. It also has a temperature sensor that detects heat as a result of a rapid rise in temperature. If the alarm is connected to the Wiser system, it sends notifications via the Wiser application directly to the phone. The optical Wiser smart fire alarm brings smart security to the smart home. The fire alarm detects smoke and a sudden rise in temperature and alerts with an audible signal and sends a notification to a mobile phone*. With the help of the Wiser application, the fire alarm can be connected to the automation of the smart home, so that, for example, sockets can be automatically closed in the event of a fire or all the cameras in the home can be set to record events on a memory card. The Wiser app also reminds you to test the function of the fire alarm at regular intervals. The status of the device can be checked by the clear LED light, and if you want to temporarily silence the device (10 min), this can be done conveniently just by briefly pressing the front of the device. The fire alarm can also be used without the Wiser application, in which case it works like a traditional fire alarm. It is also possible to chain the alarm to other Wiser fire alarm teams, so that an alarm can be issued comprehensively around the apartment if smoke or a sudden rise in heat is detected in any room. Chaining does not require the central unit of the Wiser smart home system to operate. A ceiling/wall mounting plate, screws and user manual are included. The device can be installed on a flat ceiling, a sloping ceiling or a wall. The fire alarm has a fixed battery with a lifespan of approx. 10 years. The battery is not replaceable.
